Cork Fabric Roll with a woven backing.  All rolls are precut and will not be sold in a continuous piece if more than one roll is ordered. For example: if you purchase 2 Standard size rolls, you will receive two separate rolls, not one 18" x 72" piece.

The thickness of Jomar cork fabric ranges from approximately 0.70mm to 1mm. Please see product photos for specifics of each fabric's thickness and backing material. 

Cork fabric is a sustainable and ecofriendly material made of cork tree bark shavings which are compressed and adhered to a fabric support backing. Once the bark is harvested the tree renews itself and does so multiple times during its life making this material renewable and environmentally friendly. Cork fabric has a similar feel and durability to leather which is why it is frequently called “cork leather.” It is flexible, hypoallergenic, waterproof, stain resistant and can easily be cut or sewn which makes it perfect for a multitude of uses. This fabric can be sewn on a domestic home sewing machine and is great for jewelry, bags, wallets and anything that you would need or prefer a durable leather like fabric. This fabric is thick enough that you don't need to use stabilizers or interfacings unless you want to.
